NY Route 265, Military Road, runs north-south through the town, and I-190 is nearby via the city line. Niagara Falls International Airport is located within the Town of Niagara, with some sources placing part of the airport in adjoining Wheatfield.

The Niagara Airport Commercial Park, a roughly 220-acre shovel-ready industrial site on Packard and Lockport Roads, is positioned for light manufacturing, logistics, and back-office uses, and a former U.S. Army Reserve site adjacent to the airport is now in warehousing use. The town's defining current economic activity is industrial, logistics, and airport-adjacent commercial development, distinct from traditional downtown retail.

This is the most consequential address trap in the county: Niagara Falls International Airport is physically located in the Town of Niagara, not the City of Niagara Falls. Compounding this, USPS rules require Town of Niagara residents and businesses to use a Niagara Falls, NY mailing address, so a Niagara Falls, NY address alone is not proof that a property is within the City of Niagara Falls. Always verify against the actual town or city boundary before making a jurisdiction claim.
